Your athlete puts so much work into their sport, let's celebrate that.
You know how much goes into this sport that your child loves - all the practices, training, try outs, wins, and losses - that are shaping them into the person that they will be. It is a lot and it is so worth it. The lessons in perseverance and grit that they gain in sports will serve them well in all areas of life. They know they can do hard things when they put the effort in to achieve a goal as an individual and with a team. Why not give them a photo that celebrates all that work so they can remember these lessons?
What goes on at a Sports Portrait Session?
During our time together, we will take some more traditional portraits of your athlete posing with and without their ball/bat/racquet/sports equipment. They will wear their uniform and bring any equipment they want to use. There will be some smiling and looking at the camera, some game face images, and a whole lot of fun. After we do those, we're ready to play. Each athlete will take some time showing off their hard earned skills. We'll hit, serve, kick, throw, pitch and dive to our hearts content! These are the images that show off all the hard work that your athlete puts into their craft. My hope is that they see themselves as the athlete they are and can see the work ethic that they are developing every time they look at these images in the future.
Who might schedule a Sports Portrait Session with Angela Wengrenovich Photography?
Any athlete at any age at any level can book a sports portrait session. Does your 5 year old want to sleep in their shin guards because they love soccer so much? I have created sports portraits from rec league Blastball (T-Ball lite) all the way to Olympians and there is room to create beautiful images for every athlete in between.
